Hallett Track Day

Got back from Hallett a couple days ago... It was awesome. I was running consistent low 1:29s in my dad's car. I was pleased for it being my first time to drive that track and the RUF.

The two Ariel Atoms were running 1:32s/1:33s.

A fully race-prepped Porsche 935 was running 1:27s. It only had 200 hp, but no one could keep up with it in the corners.

Steve Nance was the fastest one of the day, running 1:25s/1:26s on his '05 R6. The man is insane, haha.

Anyway, I took a few crappy phone pictures, so I figured I'd post them up.

Also, here's a video of one of my first few laps in the Porsche. I think the time was 1:31ish. I was still getting used to the track and the car...

Yeah, Josh, you're talking about Randy Lamp. That's his red Atom that you see in the picture. I went for a ride in the black one. Those things are fun as hell... It's a completely different experience than a "real" car. It rattles the shit out of you, haha. Not as fast as I thought they'd be though...

I'm pretty sure Randy's is the boosted one. I don't know about the black one. They weren't as fast as they could be because Randy is used to going in a straight line in his Cobras... Randy is a cool dude.

hell yea eddie is cool he invited me and i went. His porche is fast and that whine from the supercharged gto is awesome. It was fun till i got freaking hit on the way back.
