YO YO YO. OK so i put this "Turbo muffler" on my audi A4. But the thing doesnt give me and noise it just pushes air out a little faster. It for sure took away throttle response and maybe gas milage. But i think what is keeping me form some noise is this huge emissions "tub" looking thing like in the middle of my exhaust piping. Does anyone have tools or time to cut this bitch off and hook up some piping in place? Also just give me some more pointers on the exhaust im a little uneducated on it. Could it be my cat converter that is holding the noise?

Hey Cody, that turbo muffler is a chambered muffler. The better choice would be something straight through, because you have a turbo car, you need the least amount of backpressure possible. Everything in the exhaust that inhibits flow creates backpressure, so get a differenet muffler. That will help with throttle response and gas mileage. As for the noise, my XR has a turbo muffler on it (cant wait to change that) and the thing is hella loud and it resonates like nothing else. I assume, something straight through would give you more sound, because of the lack of sound deadening material and chambers. Also, emissions sucks, take it off, go full 3 inch all the way from your downpipe (coming out of the turbo) and if you wanna stay somewhat legal, get a 3 inch high flow cat. if not, screw the cat, and be like me. NEway, look me up at school and we will talk more about exhaust and i will let you hear my car. bty, if you didnt know already, im Joe Smith.
