Does anyone know what the legal tint limit in Arkansas is? I think I remember reading somewhere that it was 25% on most of the windows (except the windshield) and I was wondering if that's true.

When we went to get the windows tinted on a buddys car they said 35% was legal @ Step-UP & Trim-Line.

Alright, wanted to know before I did any tinting. Can you recommend any places around NWA that do a good job at a reasonable price?

Step-Up truck accessories on the way to Centerton. They did a great job on my buddys car, they can even throw some vinyl on there for you if there is any that you like. Good, respectable hard working people. Their number is in the phone book.

Trim-Line Design is the best, in my opinion. But they are a little more expensive. $200 for a four-door sedan. But the quality is there. Besides my 'rents have known the owner(s) since I was like 6 years old, and I know they are awesomely good people. The choice is yours.

But, they are both good and have quality tint. The only deciding factor, for me, would be the pricing and locations of the facilities.

Trim line is more expensive but they tint it on-site and is an accessable building to find.

Step-Up is a little cheaper, and might drive your vehicle to their other shop, and the building is a little out of the way unless you have another reason to go to Centerton. It is not hard to find at all, but its just not right off the highway or anything like trim-line.

Both are good though. :)

Trim line can blow me, they did a horrible job on my malibu, and their materials sucked. I don't know who did it, but I hated it. The tint had lines in it, and there was a huge gap around the edge of the windows. Also, I had a hair in my rear glass quarter panel. It was ridiculous. I'd have Danny Buchard do it, he can do it any percentage you want. Call him up at 544-4884 and tell them that Brock sent you. :D

That's crazy. Sorry you had a bad experience with them, Brock. Glad you found someone that worked better for you.

I dont know about Trimlines' work but they cost a little more and they always feed me crap saying i need a letter from the state patrol. I called them, they dont do that. Like the letter from the prosecuting attorney that i have and a doctors note isnt good enough anyway.

Can you give a price estimate that he'd charge? I'd like to do about 35% tint, though I'm not sure which style though (as in llumar tint or limo tint or solarguard, etc.)

Sorry Triepsyn, I shouldn't talk like that about trim line, normally they do awesome work.... They didn't do worth a damn on my malibu though....

Wolfgraen, the best thing to do is call and ask. I don't like quoting others work. He just tinted my friend Sharon's civic, she's the hot blonde chick w/ the silver civic EX, 99 model, lowered with 17" gunmetal rims.... He did an exceptional job, as always.
