What should a 94 LT1 Z28 automatics with long tube headers and an exhaust cutout be running? Very high 13s-low 14s?

sounds about right, always think how high up the track is also, lots of ppl don't take that into consideration when the time they ran isn't what they thought it would be

What gears man? 3.23s?
My guess low 14s. Getting into the 13s would be more likely at lower elevations.

not sure what gears, they're stock though
My 100% stock 1995 Z28 with 2.73s went 14.1 at Mokan.
This was on crappy tires too, hence my 2.2 60 ft times.
It isn't unreasonable for a A4 LT1 to run 13.8 ~ 13.9 with better tires, 3.23s, and some decent air.
With Long Tubes and a cutout, it should easliy be a mid 13 second car. assuming he has okay tires, and some decent air. Headers make a BIG difference on a LT1. Anyone who has seen a stock LT1 set of manifolds would know this. I know even going from mid length Pace Setter headers to Jet Hot Long Tubes on my 1993 Z28, I felt a good SOTP difference, and car had noticeable top end pull.

interesting...I wouldn't think the exhaust mods would make THAT much difference

Long Tubes
Also keep in mind that the stock manifolds have to go through One Catalytic Convertor. With long tubes, I have a feeling he dumped the catalytic convertor.
yeah i'd say 13's would be more like it. they go 14.1 stock. its hard for me to think that with about 30-40 more hp you couldnt shave off two tenths. then again its an auto so youd have to have 2-3 more thenths. either way 14.0 shouldnt be hard to break in a LT1
i ran 13.8 with bone stock 6 speed LT1 TA...
