FS: 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback w/swap

I'm selling my 89 Honda Civic Hatchback with the ZC swap. Please don't ask me why, its hard enough getting rid of it, I just don't want it anymore, I haven't enjoyed it enough I guess. Anywho...

JDM DOHC ZC (1.6l) engine with JDM PM7 computer

163xxx miles on body
5k US miles on motor since imported

Any stock parts from the car, and a ton of other Honda parts that are going to the junkyard if you don't want them.

The car has a problem with the engine which I am getting worked out ASAP. The body is in great condition minus the front right fender and passenger door are messed up. Clutch is somewhat new (300 something miles) with a good throw out bearing. Interior is in great shape. Its a very clean car.

I want $3000 for it when its running good.

Yeah I know the Ranger will be a Ginormus (:)) PITA! I'm definitely not underestimating the swap. I'm not trying to 'weasle' out on the Honda because I think its a PITA, because its really not; I'm just tired of the car...

My reasoning is, I'm going to school in the fall. I'm not going to drive this thing all the way over there and back every weekend. No alarm, ZR tires, insurance.... Plus, I've put hundreds of hours into this car, and I've only driven it 300 some miles and I've had it for an entire year!

Call me crazy, I'd rather have my old Isuzu over the Honda, or even a turbo Ranger. Sure I'll regret it, just like I regret selling the P'up. I sold my guitars, and tons of other stuff to get this car where it is right now, and I realize that. But its getting so bad that I would just sit in the shop and look at the car because I don't think its worth it to work on it. I know I've had the car for a long time, as long as you've known me, but its going to have to go sooner or later.... I feel worse about it for you than for me lol.

Fix my TPS problem. I at least think its the TPS. I have a good sensor in the shop, I just don't know how to measure the voltage. Do you know how Mali?

No, I can't part out. Sorry man. The only way I would do it is if I was guaranteed to get $3000 out of it, and if I had a buyer guaranteed for everything on the car.

Dude... you should not sell your car. That car is awesome and you have put a lot of time and energy inot that car. I think you should at least get it running and have a little fun in it this summer and then sell. Besides I'm sure that you girlfriend would love to ride in it. That is just my opinion on the subject. But you can make you own choice.

Brock, I really appreciate the offer for the TPS. But I just pulled a spare TPS off of my old D15B7 and it cranked right up and I reved it all the way to redline! :D

I dunno, I still want to sell the car because I still want to do something else, but we'll see how this all works out...

Travis, dude if you want any of this stuff, come get it. My shop is way too messy and I need to get rid of all of this junk.

The only reason I said it was that she says she likes my car, and doesn't like yours, but its almost the same car (except mine isn't near as nice as yours). hmmm tps... the devil. Riches car had major tps problems when i swapped out the throttle body for his 65mm on his beast. friggin things are never working. i think i have a problem with mine too. oh well

Ok, most of the problems are fixed. Car is still for sale, same price. Its going in the paper soon for $3500...

Mods I forgot about...

-Si gauge cluster
-'euro' side markers
-front strut bar -included, not installed

Mods yet to be installed....

-white face fuel pressure gauge (on fuel rail)
-2.25" exhaust
-and it needs an alignment, which I will get done before it is sold

I'll include nearly every receipt that I have from this car. I don't think anyone here is interested in the car though... But if I get the alignment done, and exhaust done, I'm going to ask $3500.
