Car back fires at high rpm 90% of the time. Bad plugs maybe?

Your long tubes don't provide the back pressure to help close your valves as much as your stock manifolds and previous headers did. What kind of back fire is it? Like a gunshot or just a bubbling sound?

You probably have one or two valves out of manufacturer's spec, and the long tubes just amplify it. Take it to a friend or a cheap shop and have them check the valve clearances and adjust them if its out of spec. A backfire won't hurt your engine, you'll just have to put up with the sound or adjust the valves. A backfire could hurt your performance if the valve opens way too much, so you wouldn't get full compression out of that cylinder.
