Well I was scootin around on my bike and a contruction tank truck pulls out in front of me. I slid around trying to grope for traction on a gravel patch, once found I continue on with him in front of me. As soon as i let my guard down he opens his water gates on his tank and dumps water, grit, and mud all over the road and in turn on me and my bike effectively turning my tires into rings of soap. Couldnt get around him, couldnt avoid the water. Nearly lost it.
 Happy to hear you werent hurt.
Be careful out there.

lol, im def glad it all went well. I myself didnt think twice about getting back on my bike. No reason to be scared of the Bike, being scared of traffic is another thing though. But a good way to die is to be scared, being scared belittles the senses. Instead of being scared, be conspicuous, be aware, drive aggressive, or ride aggresive, be your own person, be curtious, all in all, prove to be a better driver/rider. Nowadays its the only way to stay outta trouble.

Yes, I've learned this after...like 3 Speeding Tickets? lol. My Insurance on LIABILITY Is $280/mo. I have to pay $70.00 a week. It sucks, and I refuse to speed, Street race, or do burn outs anymore. I'm lucky to still have a car. I have to stay a good boy til i'm 21 now, or my car goes bye bye.

Glad to hear u are okay. I on the other hand wasnt so lucky. back in july on walnut i had a car slam into me. he didnt want to slow down and decided to go around him. but i was right beside him. he hit me soo hard he pushed me and my bike into the turn lane. I had to drop the bike to keep from going into oncoming traffic. after the accident july 9th I didnt walk again until november 05.
I ended up w/a 10 inch plate and 13 screws in my right leg and 8 of those screws are in my knee. Had severe nerve damage also. so now I have a knee and foot brace I have to wear and I still cant drive until atleast this june.
It totaled my 2005 yamaha vstar 650. When I went down I hit my head so hard it took a chunk out of my helmet and cracked it.
I hope u guys wear a helmet, it really saved my head. I dont like them but I appreciate helmets now.
