Ordered this exhaust system today from Buds VW Parts in Fayetteville.. It's what he reccomended for a fairly quiet exhaust that will take to the other mods I'm doing to the beetle very well.. Also it's an EMPI system so it's the real deal  ... I can't wait till it comes in!!

Got the new exhaust system in today.. Headers & Muffler.. I LOVE IT!!!
Note.. The ass of this car is not sexy.. The rear fenders are getting replaced with '59 bug fenders and the deck lid with one from a '62 to fix that ;)

I'm not going through cars.. I actually happen to still own all the cars I've had in the past 6 or so months or so.. Capri is in the works but having troubles w/ it, I'm trying to sell the Honda, and the Bug is something I wanted so I bought it.. Whats wrong with that? At least I'm not stuck with a $15,000 + loan..

That isn't true. You don't own the Celica anymore. That is mine now! :-)

I'll be there fri night.. Yes.. the install went well except the old exhaust was the original and took a lot of lube and a small miricle to get everything apart without busting a stud in the head (replaced head studs).. The exhaust is pretty quiet too.. Now all you hear is what sounds like a dozen marbles in an old washing machine on a fast spin cycle .. Gotta love that Beetle sound! :lust:
