Hey! I'm Heath, I'm 20, and I own that other site... :) NWAImports is an awesome site and forum, and I hope there is no beef between us. That being said, I rock! Haha... sorry, just had to throw that out there. Anyways, This summer, I'm gonna be planning a few big "Car Enthusiast Shindigs" and hopefully I can get with the admins here and get a lil help from them in organizing and all. Well, that's all for now...

"...Wees gots.." domestics you mean - kindof ironic since the name has nothing to do with domestics

Yeah, a few peeps have been discussing a showdown between ARI and NWAI since last year, but they just sorta stopped talking about it.

Anywho, Welcome Heath, that was a terrible joke btw which of course I fell for - haha not at first, but after the 10th page, yes I was a fool

What does his Stang run? You know?

Can't quite pull the wheels in mine, but possibly after my motor swap this summer  hahah - prolly not

That's his engine. It is definately a badass stang... Makes me miss mine, even though mine wasn't supercharged, it still had major juevos.... :)

I never heard of you having a stang, what year/Engine?

I have and 83 and I'd rather have it than a newer EFI just cause I love the smell of a Holley :P

And the T-Tops are sweet as hell in the summer

I had a 68 Mustang GT Fastback... California Special- came from the factory with a big-block 390 and positrac rear-end... Had Holley 650 Carbs on there, which were WAY too small, had a 3 speed automatic tranny, engine was completely rebuilt, bored over, worked over, all that good stuff... Interior was re-done, exterior was stripped, then painted with a beautiful GulfStream Aqua Color with a black c-stripe on the sides... It was a beautiful and fast car. When power brakingand launching, it would lift a front tire just enough to notice... Damn I miss that car. I'll get some pics up here as soon as I can get a scanner to use... I have a whole lotta pics from the day we got it to the day we sold it. That was a sad day, the saddest day in my automotive history.

I would imagine, I woulda hated to get rid of something like that as well. Specially all that power, my bud and I had a 68 GT Fastback with a Modded out the ass 351W C6 Posi 9", it was a shitbox he paid $800 for with a rusted roof and floorpans but the motor was tight - it took like a gallon of gas poored down the carb just to start it, then once it warmed up, it tossed the body back and forth like it didnt weigh anything.
He got parts of his motor stolen and I have no idea what happened to the car, but I always wanted that motor. You could tap the gas at a stop and it would spin the tires a complete turn with no sweat.

Is this a Photo a California Special you are refering to, I never heard of em?

No no... That's no where close to what I had...Although the wheels on the purple car in the background are almost identical to what I had.. They didn't say California Special on them... It was just an option from the factory that came with the big block and the positrac rearend. Plus, mine was a fastback, not a coupe.

Yea- Hit the gas at a stop light in my old mustang, and it'd lay rubber all the way to 3rd gear.... and it only had 3 gears. :D I learned how to do donuts and burnouts and even figure eights in that car. I also learned how quickly we'd go through tires... haha. When cruising on the interstate at around 65 mph, you could punch the gas to the floor, and the back would loose up and start throwin white smoke and sliding to the side... it was crazy fun with that light ass rear end!

Sup Heath! Welcome to NWAi! Glad to see a merger between teh both of us... Anywho, I just sold my 69 Mustang coupe a week ago. My Stang was the 200Ci Straight Six which = Teh SuXor, but it sure was pretty. :D

I didnt know if that was what it looked like or not since I've not heard of the California Special, but since it was a Factory Package - that would prolly explain it. Sounds like you had a really fun car, I've heard of 70's 454SS's that would break em loose on the highway but most of those are usually Supercharged.

Yeah that purple car in the background would be nice to have fo sho :wootburnout:
I use to have a set of those cregar mags but they were sold :(

i just got rid of my 68 mercury cyclone (like a torino) coupe (very few coupes made, like 1300) it had a 302 2brrl tho :(

but dang, i started her up after sittin for a year i think, had 2.73 gearing, open 8" and big tires, and it freaken roasted rubber in front of my house, ya know...enough to pick it up and make a ball out of the rubber :D

Hahaha, when I first bought my stang, it had been setting for 3 or 4 years and for the first week it had so much power... then it eventually died off a little. I cranked it up today and found that First Gear is totally gone :(

So much for summer Fun, I was gonna get another tranny for parts anywho, but now I have to before I can play.
