need 6 speed tranny for 95 trans am

:drive1: i lost traction in the rain and got t boned by a truck in my trans am.... with out insurance. about a month later i got it drivable for about a week when the tranny went out. so the best deal i've found so far is $2000 with 80,000 miles. some body tell me they've got somthin better..

ls1 and lt1 have different trannys even though they are both t-56's if i remember correctly. Try over are ls1tech.com or some other f-body sites

1995 trans am-6 speed, tranny rebuilt 91,000 miles ago, im considering selling the whole car...Remanufactured long block put in about 61,000 miles ago. PM me if you wanna spare parts car. pics of it are in the sig...engine has a knock. i'd like to get $4000 but make an offer in the PM if u want
