What do you guys think of Fayetteville's Smoking Ban now?
What do you think of the attempt at banning smoking in all of the area restaurants and public areas in all of NWA?
I don't know the specifics of what exactly is going on.. But I'd like to know how you all feel about what you do know is going on.

I personally hate smokers and can't stand to be around them when they smoke. However, I don't feel that the gov't should tell a private restaraunt how to run their business. It should be left up to the individual restaraunt as to whether they allow smoking or not. my .02

I agree. My dad smoked until I was 15, but he would never smoke in a resturant, and I personally don't think anyone else should, but thats just my thoughts. And like Drew said, I definitely do not think the government should control that.

I think smoking should be banned altogether. Its just as bad as marijuana, but its been socially acceptable in this country since it was founded in the 1700's. It's a waste of money, as well as a waste of perfectly good lives.

yea i wouldnt mind if smoking was illegal its bad for the smoker and every1 around him, but as long as its legal i think it should be up to the owner to decide if he bans smoking or not in his busnisess

I'm for it... though I forgot to vote  but I knew it would pass... Fayetteville is a hippy town :D
I'd have no problem with it being banned country-wide, although I can guess that a LOT of people would protest.

You see that commercial for that stuff, "Smoke Away"? Tell them to buy it. Lazarus bought it and was off within 3 days.. You still have to take the pills for a full 2 weeks or something like that but you'll be unaddicted within a week guaranteed.
Anyways, it worked for Lazarus and someone else I knew.. So, it's definitely not a joke or lie...
It's like $50 for the stuff at Wal-Greens.. Or you can buy it with all of the accessories for $150..

I think smoking is gross and I would love for it to be banned. I have SEVERAL friends who smoke and I try to get them to stop all the time but it doesn't do much. They don't see any immediate life-threatening affects on their bodies and therefore could care less. Kind of like a live for the moment thing.

there are so many smokers that if springdale or rodgers opens up any clubs or bars that alow smoking all off the fayettevilles income from the smokers is going to up that way and fayetteville will be hurting for income. and it will put alot of restraunts out of busines
