D1 DRIFT SERIES

Hey everybody...in a couple of weeks(april 10th) in Houstin there is the D1 drifting competition. I know so far of about 5 or 6 of us going...everybody should go if they can...we dont have school pretty much that whole week from wed. on out we get out. But we are goin to see pretty much all the Japanese drifters(pros). So if anybody is interested in goin...itll be fun.

dang, thats quite a trip. Probably well worth it though. How are you guys getting out for that? We still have school then... I've been watching some videos of drift racing series from Japan, like the D1, its pretty dang cool.

its gonna be bad ass...and we get out for I dunno what...I forgot..seniors get out wed., we only go to get our cap and gowns...then the whole school gets out thursday and friday that week..dunno why...dont really care...who am I to argue it? :P

You must be talking about Drift Showoff it's not D1. It's an exhibition that the pros put on and a competion that amateurs can compete in. There will only be a couple of Japanese pros from the Falken Drift team, Signal Auto drift team, and some of the pro American drifters. They put on a good show, it will be worth your while. I've gotta couple of friends from Austin that are will be there. I've never been to Drift Showoff but I was able to attend a couple of D1 events in California, Inaugural D1 Grand Prix in August 2003 and D1 Grand Prix round 1 2004 on Feb. 28th here's a link to some pics I took in Feb.
