Anyone ever used one of these things?! HOLY SHIT! That's BADASS!!!
I had engine grease, dog piss, alcohol, bbq sauce, etc. ground into my carpet and this thing just pulled it ALL right out, except for the Sonic slushie, that shit's acidic or something. Carpet looks 100% new, besides that fucking 1" dia. red spot thanks to fucking sonic.
:2thumbsup: for Rug Doctor.

get their "Steam Cleaner" stuff. $7 bottle did my entire apartment. Took out the pet stains like nothing. The engine grease took two passes, but is completely gone. Well worth it. They got two sizes, small for $17.99 (or somethin close) and the Wide-Track(large) for $24.99 (the one I used).
It's worth the money to rent one of these, man. Puts any shampooer I've ever used, to shame.

cool, does it come with the shampoo or cleaner with it? or is that what the "steam cleaner" is used for? also, was the carpet wet after you cleaned it? if so, how long did it take to dry?

It comes with nothing. The "Steam Cleaner" is the cleaner stuff. It was wet for about 10-15 after cleaning it, but not very much at all.

I finally used this last weekend, and I was very pleased with the results, it got all of the spots out like woah. except for this hugh kool-aid stain which will probably require a more pottent cleaner, but it was deffinately worth the $30
