240sx meeting

alright, i figure project S has been around long enough, now i wanna put names with faces, how would everyone feel about a meeting?? we could go out to eat, cruise, something, i just wanna get to know everyone, talk about future plans, etc etc etc (im a car nut, i could shoot the shit about cars all day long) bring your friends, people who like 240s, hell anyone would come, but id like to see everyone with a 240 there. lets start thinking of a date and time and figure out whats good for everyone.

I'm still up for meeting! I'm looking for an S14. Got more Info from RacerChino, and he said I should get an RB20DET. Only If i can find an S14 in a dealership lot around NWA.

hell yeah, Z's are more than welcome, maybe we should just consider this more of a nissan enthusiasts club than just an S meeting. we can do the 240sx shizzle and have a general nissan club. what kind of Z do you have??

ehhh rb20dets are good motors and all, but the price to put one in (beacause you have to have custom mounts, 1300 bucks for a set from mckinney motorsports, the best mounts they make imo) its not worth the hassle. im looking at either newer s13 sr20det's for my possible swap, they are extremely cheap and very easy to mod with a giant aftermarket, something the rb20det is missing.

Yea, I might just Turbo the KA, the KA is a bigger motor (What I have heard). The thing is with Turboing the KA, is it revs up slower, and doesn't have as much RPMs as the SR20. It will depend on how much money will be saved up.

well it was a success, we had our first real meeting, myself, jasonh, I8, and 93two40 showed up. was good talking to everyone, im thinking for the next one, maybe we should invite some guys from everywhere. jasonh said hes got some friends in hot springs, we should see if any of the ARi guys wanna meet up, and anyone else who has a 240. i think we should plan for early spring, maybe marchish (nice weather for a cruise ya know??) im going to post on the 240 boards im on in the local sections and see if there are anymore of us out there in AR.
