I am in desperate need for a car. I need somethin cheap and that is good on gas. My van is to bad on gas and i cant save any money driving it. If you know of anyone wit a good car that runs good and is good on gas mileage and dependable let me know. there are still cars located across the street from carmart on 8th (next to Kent Rylee) that are marked around $500 that I saw.

There is a Really nice lookin little 95? Merc Sable? - 4cyl 5spd Black $29XX Financed - I saw saturday where nucklebusters use to be (beside Junk Yard Dog in rogers) he is opening a car lot up there.
Car doesnt knock or anything, I think he's askin a little too much but that may just be my opinion.

Also, you might check Don Garrison in Bentonville off main st. (pretty much behind Autozone) He buys and sells crap cars to and from the auction weekly and I have had a couple pretty decent $250 deals from him that lasted a good 6months (the way I drive).

Him and I have had our words about a few vehicles.. Sure, he's got some cheap JUNK but DO NOT pay over $600 cash for anything he has! He "fixes" cars to run alright with his hillbilly mechanic that uses coat hangers to fix everything and anything.. seriously.. DO NOT fall into his finance plan!! If you finance a junker from him and something goes wrong the next day he'll tell you to shove it up your ass and you still owe him X amount.. I can understand that but I think you should stand behind what you sell.. if it's the next day and your already having a MAJOR problem and you did some sort of finance deal then something should be resolved because of the issue(s).. also.. his book keeping no toothless girlie he has over there freaking sucks! She couldent keep the Alphabet in a ABC book!! .. If your going to buy anything from this old loon beware!

Yea, you only wanna pay for a couple hundred dollar junker, dont finance anything! Beware of sawdust in the engine or no antifreeze as those are most common with his cars. I use to "work" there not really cause I didnt get paid, i just hung out and fixed cars that I was intrested in then he'd let me take em with no down just what I had put into them. I bought 3 cars that way spent about 4 or 5 hundred on each max but of course I know engines a little better than the average joe and I could tell what I was getting into.

There was a couple and a child looking at a topaz back in the day and they thought I worked there, but I told them about the car honestly and drove em off, that was back when it was close to winter and don had went off to the islands somewhere and left the tow truck guy in charge.

I would only buy from him as a last resort or just in need of a good junker. If you spend about a grand you mint find a decent car (but with problems).

Rumor has it the city is trying to shut him down.. I'm at the U-Haul dealer next door to him often.. I hear all the rumors about Don Garrison and his shady ways.. Guess the old man has been that way since highschool with crooked deals.. From what I've heard he was chased out of one of the towns here in NWA for his shady deals at another car lot he owned back in the day.. The locals of the town literally chased him out.. lol.. You hear some interesting stories about Don Garison if you talk to some of the old timers that have lived here since it was farm land..

Also.. his towtruck guy scares me.. he's Special..
