I was just informed of this the other day and though it was interesting.
"Dancing Rick" from Starsky and Hutch (the guy that he dances against in the club)
is played by HarMar Superstar (Steve something... I can't remember his last name)
I think he's from St. Louis or Chicago... either way he used to play at Clunk all the time.
He's played there something like fifteen times and used to love coming here.
Anyway, one of my friends knew him from when he played here and recognized him in the
movie. He stayed for the credits and saw his name there.
I just thought it was cool...
btw. I also found out the other day that Billy Bob Thorton (sp?) is shooting a movie
I think in Eureka Springs sometime soon. I found an ad saying that they were looking
for "townsfolk" and other extras for the movie. Apparently there have been three or
four major motion picture companies considering NWA for a location in the last year
or so. It prompted Fayetteville to start some kind of talent ageny or something.
