do you have to have a hood at mokan?

I dont know if im gonna be able to get my hood on my car because of overheating problems and because of clearance issues, so i was wondering if anyone knew mokans rules on hoods? have to have one? i just want to run time only since i havent got to run it yet, but i didnt know if i had to have the hood on..
