according to my chip guidlines on avg times with just turboback and chip im supposed to hit 13.1 .. with my mods i was thinking i should dab a lil in the high 12s ... but like everyone knows you cant guess what your going to run b/c there are 2 many variables ... weather, elavation yada yada yada

I think you guys wil be very happy with the changes made at MoKan. They have completely redone the racing surface all the way down the track and it has made it a very nice track to race on!

Too bad I won't be able to race this time in the import race, I'll be in Tulsa running in the CDRA event. Maybe next time. :maliwho:

for the size turbo that you would put on there (I have alot of money that says neither a turbo nor s/c will ever see your engine bay either way) turbo lag wouldn't be a problem. That is what the shifter is for. Also, if you did put a big turbo on there that would have SOME lag, you wouldn't mind it.....trust me.

You want to see no lag? Go ride in Sam's VW especially when he is on the spray. My car has basically no lag either kuz its a tiny turbo.

I love how people measure a turbo or supercharger by PSI when the real concern should be CFM.
Take a 2.3 put a turbo on it, with said turbo it makes 15 psi and is rated at 400 cfm. Now replace the turbo with a supercharger that on the same engine makes 15 psi but has a flow rating of 1500 cfm. Which one will make more power?

I talked to Chino, and he said that I might want to go with Turbo, he said that I probably wouldn't be happy withthe Supercharger, which I guess is why more people on RDTiburon Turbo'ed their Tiburons than Supercharged them.

yes, CFM is the answer

but any blower for a tiburon is going to be less cfm than a turbo (unless its tiny) and put more of an un-needed burden on the engine

sure you could put a larger blower on it, but we all know he's buying a kit

i was actually going to supercharge my mustang, thats the main reason i bought it, but we looked in to it, it would've cost a lot and it would have lost power, wasnt worth it, we actually went to john @ dyno&perf to see about mounting and fabrication, wasnt just an idea
