Well dont worry man. I didnt do as good i could have. I think the car is capable of cutting a good bit of time of my e/t, but i need to practice. That was my first time ever running. But I think you have that one figured out. My reaction times were weak and i need to quite granny shifting. Scares me about being to mean to my car though at such an early age. KJY9, I think you'll do 13's or 12's after you get your new flywheel and clutch. I think everyone did a nice job :thumbup:

Thanks..you mis-understood though.
It's a brand new JWT light Flywheel and clutch just dropped in two weeks ago.

Out of 17 runs at centerville yesterday, I missed 2nd gear 7 times! :o
Old Flywheel & clutch, I never missed any gear..UGH :(

I'll get used to it. I found a nice little spot to practice in.

At any rate it was nice to see some AR tags up there ;)

Shit I didnt do any better for some reason I couldnt launch my car. I practiced before and when I got home and could do it but I couldnt at the track. You werent the only one.

Glad to hear you finally got to see what your car would do Lazarus, did you shift like me any???? Nah, I'm sure you'll get it. I ran my Street tires at 15-20PSI before I could launch good in my Mustang but the Posi helps too.

I didnt get a single good launch my best run which is embarrising(sp?) was 14.0 @104 with a 2.3? 60ft time. I burned up a chunk of my clutch though on that run it slipped in 1st and 2nd but finally caught in 3rd.

Yea i think I do need to rent the track to learn how to launch it

It was my first time to run the car with the new motor and clutch so I will improve on that time a lot
