ps....anyone out there install amp/subs??? I got a quote from Marconi's the other day and they want to charge me like 80+ just to put my freakin' sub and amp in my Avenger.... just curious if anyone had any suggestions.

hey guys,

in my ride i have stock cd player (98 dodge avenger ls) i have an infinity sound system in there right now with the front 6 1/2"s blown... I want to replace the 6 1/2"s and tweeters on the front dash and the rear 6 X 9's I want to also install my 100 watt amp and 15" sub (rockford punch)..... marconi's quoted me at like $600+ on install, wiring and speakers.... now I would rather have it done right, and hopefully cheaper than that...so anyway, if anyone can hook me up with someone that can offer that to me I would be greatly appreciative...


ps. anyone with transmission problems take your ride to Valley Transmission, Inc. in bentonville 1010 s. walton (479) 464-0400 and tell them you were referred to the shop by me, Stephanie.....

i am in no way knocking anyone here...but

expensive??? it depends on what speakers you are looking at! i worked for craig for a long time and he won't try to rape you on the price. look at what you are buying! compare it to what pawn is selling you(or anyone for that matter). get on the net and do research. the internet is always cheaper, but if you have a problem then u are s.o.l. if you "want it done and done right" craig can do it. if jason is still working there he is a great installer. if u think that the price is to high on something ask him if they can come down.

and a quick ? for anyone at pawn usa? what brands do you sell that come in brown plain boxes?

We're not going to start on Marconis. Where are they located now??? They are so hard to track down because they are moving every other 6 months. What are you reffering to in saying "Brown Box" speakers? We DO NOT and WILL NOT EVER sell second hand stock, or "B" Stock. We are DEALERS, we have full WARRANTEES, and we are here for our loyal customers. Jeremy hasn't been with Marconis for quite some time if I'm not mistaken, due to some ill agreements between him and Craig. We deal with most of the same distributing firms as Marconis, thumpers, and stereo one, as well as Gaylords, so we know EXACTLY how everyone is doing on car audio in NWA from our sales reps, and compared to a couple unnamed stores, we're doing GREAT. Actually, our new fayetteville store will host a couple new brands that we are pulling from other stores because they can't sell enough of it.

Anywho- Buying online is great if you want something cheaper than normal. You mess it up, you're assed out. You want help with something, you're assed out.

yes buying online sucks ass..... bought diamond speakers off ebay for half the price and the woofers went out 2 weeks later... so now I gotta save up for jimmy to get me some replacement ones... with warrantees w00t....
