<center>What's your favorite excuse you've been told for losing a race or for not racing at all?</center>

I have been told many things such as....

I've got a nail in my tire.
My alignment is off and pulls at higher speed.
I'll race you next week, when my stuff gets here from _____.
I just got a ticket the other night.
I wasn't talking shit.

I was only at 3/4 throttle.
We were going uphill.

I missed the gear (it was an automatic, and YES ive been told that)

I have a full tank of gas and it slows me down

Well since i have yet to lose on a canyon run besides once , it was an ungodly fast Sti , like over 400hp with suspension mods .... this is what Ive heard from MANY people ...

Im not used to the road ...

There were no gaurd rails , so I didnt wanna push it ...

I dont trust my tires at the moment ...

you were flinging rocks at my car ...

Im not used to my car yet ...

Very true , great car to Auto X Juan , a bit heavy ... but besides that , they handle great and have very good steering response .

yep, i had a V6 stang, 96 to be exact, it was pretty gutless (still beat a lot of civics though :)) ) but the main reasons i bought it was because it was a BIG move up from a riced out CRX, plus its was fire engine red and a convertible, plus 50k miles for $4000 aint bad, got me a lot off pu$$y in HS, and some awards at car shows :)

:( that sucks. all i did to mine other than stripes was exhaust, and terry bought me 18" chrome eagle wheels as a graduation present... i wish we would have bought my stock wheels back and put them on before i sold it, and kept the nice wheels. but we didn't. they really made a huge difference on that car! it was really pretty..

My car hangs with my friends '01 Civic EX and used to hang with Michael's Civic...'til he got headers. lol. The only Civics that I have ever beaten was a Civic EK9 Hatch, and an older hatch. My racing life would be so much better if my car was a 5 speed. lol. Really, the only good mod that I have on my car right now is a CAI. Rims added too much weight, and My weld on Exhaust is about to be switched out to a custom catback with an APEXi N1 Turbo Muffler. So you could say the only mod that I have done is a Cold Air Intake. haha.

Must...have....low..end...torque!
my car is pretty good on high end torque, though.
