to all the people that think my truck is slow!

So i was at autozone a couple sundays ago and some guy comes in asking whos ranger that was outside. I told him it was mine and he said that he has a picture that i "need" to see. I went outside and he showed me a pick of Patrick's (mr. merk) ranger. He said he went to schoo w/ Patrick. I told him i knew him and we talked for a while. He showed me his old school white (80 somethin) mazda B2600. He told me it had a 2.6 liter 4 banger in it, I had never hear of for/mazda producing a 2.6 4 banger? He asked me about a cold air intake for them so i showed him my civic intake.
Then he said lets run em...i said okay. So we have my 97 2.3 auto ranger with civic cold air intake, highflow cat, supertrapp exhaust and slightly bigger exhaust piping versus his 80is mazda b2600 w/ a 2.6? some sort of exhaust and as i found out it was a 5 speed. I've beaten' 5 speed rangers so i felt pretty good about teh race.
We head down teh street and cruise at about 10mph or so then we take off. And he must have ripped me like 3 new assholes. We raced from about 10-60 or 70 and he put 2-3 car lengths on me. I found out his truck was a 5 speed when he got a second gear scratch...maybee even a third gear scratch i don't remember. So yeah.....i suck and my trucks slow :P :rice:

You have to be able to beat SOMETHING... I remember when I had my Isuzu Hombre for a while haha. My buddy said he felt sorry for me, and said he would race me in his 3.slow Ranger so I could beat someone.... I ended up losing haha. That made me feel great. Go find a 4cyl S10/sonoma/Hombre to race lol.

he was a friggin idiot that would believe anything you told him

oh and he was kicked out of the auto service program, thats how dumb he was

I know they put a stroked version in the 98-00 rangers...but they were only stoked to 2.5
