I have some pretty good stuff on a 8mm tape, and I want to put it online, but we don't have a way to connect it to a computer and upload it. Does anyone have the stuff to do that, or does anyone know someone that can? Thanks.

Do you have a cam corder or any type of portable 8mm playing device?

If so let me know the model numbers and I can prolly come up with something. If not, just do as Nismo recommended. Most likely you will need a USB or RGB cable and/or a video card which accepts RBG/Video in. Most modern USB type Camcorders are automatically recognized by windows XP, so that may help as well.

If needed I can provide recording assistance (when I get time) if you could find a 8mm to VHS adapter.

Its my friend's camera, so I don't know much about it. Not even sure its 8mm, but I think it is. I was just wondering if anyone had a 8mm camera that was already hooked up to a computer with the software and stuff. I'll ask her today what model it is, and get back to you.

EDIT: BTW, I'm trying to get it to my upload server so people on the forum can watch it.
