got beat by the focus

Well the orange focus took down my slow ass civic today. i think it might break 17 in the 1/4 if im lucky lol. why cant these people pop up when im in the crx... only thing ive raced to gauge it against is a chevy truck which was funny, but it did sound nice. anyways what does that focus have and what times is he running? and didnt i see it in the forced induction class at mokan?

i raced the focus on the bypass last night in the capri, we went from 70-110 and then i snapped and remembered i'm showing threads on 3 tires and metal on one, so i chickened out and let off, he pulled a little on me by the time we hit 110 tho, nothing embarassing my any means, i think i ended up at his back bumper

I want a 5 speed swap because a manual is much more fun to drive.

And, from what I have heard, A Stock 2001 Hyundai Tiburon is supposed to run High 16's with a shitty driver. I run 17.2 with an Automatic Tiburon which from what I have heard with a shitty driver (keeps it in Drive), wil run a 17.5.

How long ago was he using the Juice? I raced him a few times a while back, and would yank him every time from 20mph till when I let out. He was keeping up better than I knew he should have. We got on the highway him in front of me on the on ramp. He took off Waaaaaaay before me, I ran him down and was at his door, and pulling hard, but we were coming into traffic pretty fast, I let out, and he keep going, he then pulled some Fast and the Furious shit, and cut in between the two cars ahead of us :o I was absolutely amazed he didn't die :no:
