I want that front facia for my 83.

I was thinking - just thinking - it would be cool to get a 78 - 81 T/A and mold the rear tail lights into my 83 body then mod the front facia of the T/A (shorten it) and mold it to the front and add a nice shaker style hood.

then it would be a nice one of a kind stang/T/A hybrid. :D
It already resembles a Bandit but those additions would really set it off for a car show type event - its just too many peeps would dog me for vandelizing two sweet rides to make an ugly beast. :headshake:

t-tops were only for 87 to 88 (and 1979 to 1986). Your stang is sweet!!!!! is it a 1986....... first year of the 5.0 fuel injec...... the front clip from a 87-93 stang forsure would be sweet...... ???????taillights i don't kno i'd have to see it...... to hell with vanilla ice...... haha

I think you misunderstood my question...

What years was the "Vanilla Ice Stang" produced? The lines across the tail lights and the ground effects with t-tops or Convertible?

That entire look and body style is what I was asking about.

OH um the color matched taillights are from 87 to 89 and the regular taillights "kinda" like on your stang are from 1990 to 93..........and then they go back to color matched taillights for 1994 to 1998....and then 99 to 2004 are regular taillights........

Then the 87-89 stangs would have to be my fav since they had that high-school 80's look.

My stang is an 83, I need to do A LOT of work to it before it gets back on the road. It needs everything from the ground up. I need to either get a rebuild kit for my t-5 or a new superduty (forgot the name) one. Was considering a c-4 with a shiftkit but I just cant see that.

It ran a 14.7 at Mo-Kan the way it sits and I'd be happy seeing it hit 13 flat but I dont want to destroy it for speed, 13's would be nice and thats as far as I'd take it with her on her 302.

t-5 tranny, gt-40 heads, gt-40 upper an lower intake that get you 13's easy......... My lightning has gt-40 heads, gt-40 intakes, heavy duty automatic trans with 4:11 gears, and alot of other mods and i can break into the 13's AND its a big heavy truck. just imagine how fast your stang would be :lust: Oh ya my lightning has a 351w. v8, but still.........a 302 with a good set of heads will wake your stang up!!!!!!
