This forum was made with community in mind. People that like to tune their rides, share their knowledge with others and just b.s. about whatever is going on. It wasn't made for people to "make their mark" or "let others know whats up".

Generally, from what I've seen, the problem lies in the fact that people somehow think that they know something that other people don't, and they reiterate this as if they are the only one with this "vast" knowledge base. Someone that you may think is a total dumbass and talk alot of smack to, may be one of the most intelligent people and while you try to explain things to them that they already know, pushing the issue that they don't know what they are talking about, they are probably laughing inside. It's like the whole "wolf in sheeps' clothing" syndrome. They may seem like a dumbass, but you really have no clue. And the fact that this is the internet pushes this issue even further.. You really have no idea who is on the other side of the monitor, and with this being a local board and the only interest would seemingly be from locales of NWA, being careful with how you word things seems like an important factor.

It's not about "survival of the fittest" in my eyes, thats not what this forum was created for. That whole concept is something that may be the base of other forums, but not this one.. Like Brock said, "Let's just kick it."

But yeah, Brian, alot of things have changed. Look at that shit, member number 5, insane! :o

It (flaming) usually begins when an older member returns and starts conversation like they use to, but there is a flow to the forums now and newer members tend to not like when their flow is messed up and they might say something to "test" you or just to be a dick anyway depending on their mood that day.

The forums aren't really bad or anything, there are members though that appear in writting to be jerks but that is just them - you always gotta just turn the other cheek and not listen - same as you would in real life.

Just dont let anyone get to you to the point you need to argue and curse, that is usually how it all ends.

wow .. sounds like a group of high schooler girls (not everyone - and if you are a high school girl, my bad). I really haven't had much time to look around, I was going to lurk for a while but I thought what the hey! If they want to flame me for starting an intro thread IN THE RIGHT SECTION because I'm introducing myself again for newer members, then .. well .. I can think of a few choice words but mainly 'get a life'. Stop trying to act tuff, ESPECIALLY over the internet.

Anyway.. Thanks for the welcome! and good to see you again Merk, BDP, Triepsyn, Cobra_FiveOh and any others I may have missed. Good to be welcomed B)

Have a good night all!
