PAINT JOB

Ive made up my mine IM PAINTING MY CAR !!!!!! if ne one can hook my up that would be tight my paycheck will be about 225........

yeah, your not gonna get a good paint job for 225. It could be nice, if you do all the prep work yourself but even then it may not be that great. Don't go cheap on Paint.

well in know a guy in rogers he will get ya done up ...gonna cost more than 225 bucks but the cool part is he asks for half up front and the second half after project completion...which gives ya another week or two for another pay check..or two...his name is jack sheldon i'll give ya his # if ya want it.

Jack S. is a bad ass paint guy, he's who we were talking about on the other paint thread.... Don't look to spend $225 though, that won't even cover good materials. It would be more like $1600......

I'm going to have him and Jeff align all of my stuff on my car and shoot it Gloss Black w/ red metallic...... :D

are you serious??? A quality paint job is not cheap no matter how you look at it. I don't even think 225 will cover good quality paint

I'm with you man, a good paint job is at least $1200..... If you want a faded ass, spraypaint look, go to maaco. As for the BJ, I hope you can get one for free. Anyone that has to pay for one needs help like whoa.

when I get the stock eclipse rear bumper and side skirts painted its gonna cost somewhere around 150 or so...thats pretty damn costly...and dont think that your gonna get a cheap paint job and like it....

My friend got his Triumph painted at Maaco.... It was a special paint job, some blue with green metallic. It looks damn good, but a couple spots needed to be repainted because the paint was either chipped off by one of us while we were working on the car or it happened at the paint shop. It was about $600 over all for it to be done. It looks amazing now.

I personally wouldn't get my car painted at Maaco, but that Triumph looks killer. We got a family friend to paint my brothers old Fairlane 500, just black paint for $1000. I would expect to spend about that much anywhere for a decent paint job.

go to color concepts down the road from macco, they have omni ppg paint which is what i painted my car with, its good quality paint-- i painted my ride for 100.00, but i sure wouldnt paint one for that. then again 1600.00 is crazy talk. your taking a raping if you pay someone that much. The bad thing about black is it shows every little ding and dent, i regret putting what little black on my car that i did. Im going to go solid color this time.... dark metallic blue pearl.

yah for real, my truck's paint is soooo faded, a good buff/wax job only lasts about a week or two without rain, i'm bout to start shaving/primering real soon ^_^
