They will both put down 320 or so stock and both will and have run EXTREMELY similar times (as in they are the same thing, go figure, eh?)

And the true rice has finally come out. There have been tests back to back comparing the ram air hood as opposed to the regular hood, and guess what? yep, no difference. If you reallly knew a lot about f-bodies then would know that the 4 gens were just about the same, just a few differnt trim pieces and differnt seats.. oh and yah the ram air, jesus it makes so much more hp how could i have forgotten.
SLP was contracted to do the SS and the WS6, they are were the top of line Camaro and Trans Am, then of course you know that all SS's have the Z28 package plus different hood and spolier.. same deal w/ the WS6, its a TA with a ram air hood and gaudy wing. as far as hp and all that they are the same... imagine that its like the difference between a GMC yukon and Chevy tahoe. and then the Denali and the LT.
Oh and the GTO is back, w/ true dual exhausts and i have dual mufflers.. i dont have dual mufflers, nor did I. They have a single inlet w/ a dual outlet. now i have a muffler with a single in and out. same deal with the TA, it only has ONE muffler. oh, and the GTO (5.7) is a turd, no one was impressed. its a big boat that is slow. i see you drive a nice Y-body, FWD... wooooo cool, v6 powah. And you are talking down to me when you drive a fleet car?

oh yah, and that bald tire was from an aligment problem.. it was just the one tire. I dont really ever do donuts, well there was this one time .... but thats neither hear nor there.

note i only have ONE (1) (uno) muffler.

Yes, the T/A was always a tad faster. I don't know about the tests on hoods, but if i had to guess, i'd say it was because the T/A ram air hood did a bit better job of getting cold air to the motor at speed. However, i have no way to verify that. Just my guess.

We shift the turbo engine at 8200 and we can run it to 9000. It takes it well at it's relatively low compression ratio of 8.8:1. Our previous nitrous engine saw 9400 several times at 16.5:1 compression - that took it's toll on valvesprings. Perhaps you should check the list again on the fastest 1/8 mile... it's not a camaro - and yes, I was on the brakes through the 1000' at 6.56.

I like hearing RPM's..

In V8's all you hear is screaming engines. You can't hear the RPM's. lol.

I love the screaming noise, but at the same time, I love Hearing RPM's.

4 cyl. Imports look nice...which is why I got the Tiburon. :P

4Cyl. Imports also Do good around corners. Just look at CJ...it might just be the 240...but I dont know. ;)

i guess this is where the saying "to each his own" comes into play. i think they look like crap, sound like crap, and i think you guys underestimate how well a vette handles. we took the S curves in fayetteville never getting under 80mph, never squalled the tires or anything.. that wasn't pushing it very hard.

nah, there is something about a SBF that I like. And I would do the SBC just to piss off the ford guys. I enjoy pissing off people who think cars are something holy that can't have any different motor in them (i.e. sbc in foxbody or sbf in a camaro)

Why would you take the Vette 80 MPH around the S curves in front of the Faytown Police Department?

I never said that Corvette's do bad around corners. It's just that you can get better gas milage with 4cyl..Which means you can cruise around longer. I understand that you get pretty good gas milage with your corvette..I know this. But everyone has their own opinion on cars, you know? Some like other cars and some don't. As for me, i like 99.9% of cars. I like the Corvette. They're pretty good on corners, Strip, Even cruising in. And to be honest, I like 4, 6, and 8 cyl. vehicles. I know 8 cyl. vehicles do better on performance, but to me, it's the one with the better gas mileage that counts. ;)

well one time we were playing on those corners and i think we were doing about 60mph and a cop passed us going the other direction but he didn't turn around or anything.. i dunno if he didn't figure he could catch us or what. lol we weren't complaining.

oh i realize everyone has different opinions. but i bet my car gets as good or better gas milage than most 4 cyls. i get better than the new ones that advertise on tv aswell. the thing about gas w/my car is that you have to put the expensive stuff in it, but i don't mind
