Maxima Vs. Talon

I'm on the market for a circa 1992 Maxima. But I might be up for a circa 1992 Talon TSi.

What do you guys think? Give me some pros and cons of each.

1992 Maxima

You have 2 basic engine options. You have the GXE with a 3.0L SOHC V6 and with the SE you have a 3.0L DOHC V6. The SE is probably a better buy because it has more options and mechanical features than the GXE. For instance, the SE has Variable Induction System (non-A4 though), NVCS (Nissan Valve Timing Control System), NDIS (Missan Direct Ignition System), and a Viscous LSD. As far as exterior you have halogen fog lights, dual chrome-tipped exhaust finishers, and a spoiler. Umm ... the SE does have Bose electronic audio system with 4 amplifiers and 4 Bose speakers. Ok, now for the specs...

I don't know much about the Talon's but I do know that stock 1st gen's run faster than 2nd gen's. 1st gens have a 14b, much better turbo than the t25 that 2g's come with. They also have a metal bov instead of the cheap-o plastic one. They weigh alot less as well. Bone stock, the cars will most likely be around a 14.7-15 flat, depending on driver and condition of the car. Since its AWD, I guess its just preference. Good Luck on the car hunting!
