Ok, here is what I am thinkn. I currently have a 10" L7 solo baric in the Kicker ported box, but I am wanting to make a fiberglass inclosure for it. And with that enclosure I was wanting to get another 10" but then I thought maybe I should just get a 12" L7 off of e-bay. What do you think? I already hit probably somewhere in the 135-140 area and just wanted to see what you guys think I should do. Here is a pick of what I have now, and the trunk space I have to work with.

i'd leave it how it is, its simple, effective, clean and removeable
spend those hundreds on performance, more impressive
also dont buy audio off ebay

the whole e-bay thing doesn't bother me cause I won't blow em that fast. And I am going to spend other money on my performance. I just wanted to see what other people think I should do switch to 1 12" or add another 10". I heard a 15" eclipse with the new Kicker 2250 " I think" today and it was hittin at least 160 db's. 1 15" aluminium Eclipse. friggin loud!~! To friggin loud!!

If you feel like you have to update the system, Then I would add another 10" if I were you. But if you really want to bump hard, then get a 15" solo-baric. Those things hit REALLY hard.

Two tens.
Where are you getting your estimations on dbs? You have a meter in your ear?

B) Well, my bug hit a 132.5 one time and I know that my car hits a lot harder then it does so I just made a low estimation. And I have sat in a car that hit 162.4 and the car with the one fifteen hit a lot harder than it did. The guy at the store said it was hitting mid 160's or better. So I guess I do kinda have a meter in my ear, I just base it off of cars that I have heard that have ACTUALLY been metered.

Yes, your ear is a decible meter. Everyone's is. However, the way something sounds to us is HIGHLY frequency dependant. The 162.4 that you sat in on ( are we talking legal spl or outlaw or in the port? ) was probably at a very high frequency (probably 60-80hz) However, when a speaker can pound out 20-30hz at 145db that will feel and sound (to you) very very loud. Put it on a legal meter, and it won't hit 160. Unless you sat in on a SS1-2 DB drag car in which case, I don't know of any of them using eclipse woofers.

Hey man, before you consider fiberglass, have you received a quote on the price of fiberglass? I'd recommend getting another 10" L7 like you have, and buying a dual 10" ported box for it.

I was going to build my box for a first time project for myself. I wanna learn how to use it anyways and my friend that knows how to use the stuff is going to help me. So it shouldn't be that much. I am just going to build a fiberglass front not the whole box. Thanks for the imput though, I want more!!

I say keep what you got and put more power to it. I'm a fan of single sub setups because of the cancellation/delay you encounter with multiple subs.

I'd go for the 2 tens it would sound bad ass.
