lol. Sirmichael has a 13second all motor probe GT, and he doesn't even run slicks and skinnies like them. LOL I will laugh at anyone who thinks that intake is better than your normal CAI or short ram. LOL

The design is actually very smart. It helps prevent water from getting into the filter when its wet outside.

Alex at humble recently built a 1990 Civic hatchback w/ all oem honda parts and it ran 12.50's w/ a 1.98 60ft. time. 13's suck butt. Nice product though!

What is the advantage of this intake over any other CAI? I see that the filter is higher off the ground, but if the end of the pipe is submerged you will still ingest water into the engine.

You won't suck as much spray into the filter.

I got a AEM Bypass Valve on my CAI, solved that problem right away. But I will like to see the Dyno numbers first

<- firm believer in short ram intakes
throttle response > extra 2 hp to the wheels

Even if the filter is sprayed and gets damp, it won't matter because air is so much lighter than water. The only way the engine will pull water and do damage is if the filter is completely submerged.

the completly submerged part is pretty accurate . i run no plastic wheelwell covers or splash gaurds for my filter , sucks up water all the time , and the only time it really stalls out , is when it is storming really bad , or when i drop the front end in a huge puddle . and yet after 15-20 times of doing this , my motor still runs great . long live the mighty KA !

A lot of the MX-3 guys are using them, and saying aren't seeing any more gains than they are with the CAI that you can pick up off of Ebay for a 1/3 of the cost for the PRM systems, But they do look good.
