My truck got it's first race and first kill today

Today my truck raced for the first time ever. It was against a blueish 2003-2004 civic was lowered and had a catback(may have had more mods, but those were the only obvious ones that I could see). We went twice, both times from a stop. The first time I pulled till the front bumper of his car was at my rear tire at around 45mph. From 45 to about 75(when we let off) I just held him there. The second time had similar results. I pulled until I let off at around 45mph(had to turn into the bank). I was pretty happy with the results considering that my truck is a '95 model. I wanted to talk to the guy at the second stoplight, but he just ignored me.
Do any of you know him? He looked to be in his 20's. His car was a blueish/almost purplish color, the hubcaps had been removed, it had a catback, and it was lowered. If any of you know him, find out all that he has done to it for me. I am curious. Also give him props for hanging with a V8.

yah, they are heavy, my old longbed V6 ranger beat many V8 fullsize trucks, diesels.....not a chance, they own

hmmm, my humble lude a DIESEL, many v8's on 540 from a roll, ive also beaten 2 Hemi's and many mustang GT's. im sure i can take on ur truck, wanna race? :laugh: But its good kill non the less, just try your best to keep it undefeated, although it is tuff. I think im like 14-2 all time. What have you done to your truck???

I have a K&N filter, thats it.

Racing that civic was just for shits and giggles, I don't plan on racing in my truck very much in the future.

:maliwho: Beat a riced accord in my mom's Lincoln...I really shouldn't. Owning a Civic myself, I see the embarassment and confusion he must have gone through but I just couldn't pass it up...he revved on me. But way to go, I used to drive a Tacoma and it was fun to see the surprised look when their cars got beat by a 4X4, keep the surprises comin...it's what makes racing so exciting.
