aight got mah o2 sensor...but mah shyts sayin that my map sensor is shot......how can i pull all the sensors and computer and all that other uneeded shyt out of my car...and is it a good idea?

You need all that shyt for the car to run. While the car is running, try taking the computer out. The car just will not run without that stuff. If you had a carbureted car, you wouldn't need that; granted a carbureted car didn't have any of that....

Your computers main use is to put fuel into the engine by way of the injectors. The MAP, O2, IAT, are (usually) not needed for the car to run; they help the car run more efficiently. The crank angle sensor, TPS, distributor wires and injectors are needed for a fuel injected car to run. They tell the computer when to spray a certain amount of fuel. You could go carbureted if you really wanted to, but I wouldn't see why.

yeah....i want to keep my fuel injection so i'll just replace every freakin sensor in mah car till it runs <_<

i must say since i took out my sensor my gas millage went from 17 to about 12-13 and it also goes slower less low end torque

My Civic did that for a while. First it was IAT, then the MAP, then TPS, then IAT again, then coolant temp, and then one of the distributor sensors stopped working.... So I just got a new engine :). It was over due for one anyways though.

After your O2, MAP went out. Anything else going out since that?

well i replaced the map...had her running...sounded bad too...had a nasty lope in it...any way i figured id run her till she was good and hot...till i heard the beautiful rumble stop....went out to check on her and......i sliped another timing belt.....ya'll need a very pissed off looking smiley..... :angry:
