the first race u cant really tell but the first time he shifts he falls way back, he missed third and when he got it in gear he broke traction and was fishtailing a lot back and forth, then he caught back up pretty quick before he let off (you can hear him let off) and let u in front,

then 2nd race u got on it way before he did, u didnt pull away as much as the video makes it look, he was catching up when u got a head start,

the 3rd race that he won fair and square was awesome, and i'm not sure what u were worried about considering we were sittin back there in the "U" with an open lane next to us, we went down to make sure it was clear, we were on the phone with caleb, u werent actually going to race down there w/o having someone check were u? cops hide down there a lot, FYI

the 4th race (the 3rd one that u showed), was calebs horrible launch, there is a pile of rubber sittin back there, yah u did beat him but you didnt pull on him any, then u freaken cut him off and slammed on your breaks, and accused him of almost hitting you, that was a little too close of a race to cut someone off and hit the brakes, i'm glad he was already on his brakes or u both would have been fucked

That 3rd race he didn't tell us that y'all were sitting down there...I come over the rise and see a car with his headlights on facing me in my lane...I shut down then he passes me...he didn't win any of the races.
Here's the missing race..listen to when I shut down, then he pulls past me and what I say about it ...y'all are too funny...you guys don't need to be racing...you need to be learning to drive first.
I didn't want to post this race because of the language I used, but it's VERY clear what happened and who had who when I shut down ROFLOLOL
I did learn a lesson though...don't race kids that haven't a clue what they're doing.

thanks for posing the 3rd race. Mis understanding I knew he was down at the end but I didnt think he was going 2 have his lights on. The 3rd vid gives a better representation of the fact I was catching up after the launch.

I have no resolutions towards either of you, but I know what I heard.
On that "hidden" race, or whatever, Caleb was walking back up next to you long before you shut down, KYJ9...had you guys finished it to the top, I think he would have ATLEAST been sitting right next to you, which is pretty good considering the distance he lost on the launch.
Had it finished out, that race could very well have been Caleb's.

Although I'm POSITIVE I could out drive you any day, the machines are by no means equal. Caleb just put in a new motor and his outta the racing scene for 4 months, he is looking for people to race him so he can get an Idea of how fast his car is now. He may/may not have lost his driving abilities in 4 months, but rest asured that car has WAY more power than he is use to.

Please do not consider his races as WINNER/LOSER, they are compairison runs.

Ill have my moter broken in by this weekend and I was wondering if any1 on the board wants to race? post or PM me if you want to. No money involved just want to see what I can do with everything working properly now. I now have proper compresion.

If he wants to test it on the streets, so be it. It is his choice, me personally, would not go all the way to a track just to blow my motor again. I would do it close to home so I could have it towed cheaper.

I definetly think the "Test and tune" deal needs to be done. I was with him tonight with his race with 2Quick4u, it seems his motor might be heat soaking after runnin it. I dont know anything about Rotaries but that exhaust temp it WAY up there!!!

Seems that the Piggy Back system is causing it to run a little rich as well. I thought it was missing on a couple of plugs but then again I dont know Rotaries.

Caleb, I dont remember if it was 140 when you let off, I went back to see what the mileage was when I rode with you - it was a 1/2 mile exactly. I think you should be doing 13.2/13.5 @ 105/110 in the 1/4 if it was 140, (If you learn that launch.. Watch those 60 ft times as James suggested. :thumbup:

I am a broke 18 yr old that just put everything he had into his car to get it running again. I cannot afford to spend a shitload of money tuning it right now. I know the piggyback was tuned for a more modified car, so of course Im going to run rich. Running rich is better then lean. Lean kills engines, rich just fouls plugs easier.

I know I need to work on stuff, I thought I made that clear countless times. Ill do it one more time for people that cant seem to read:
I NEED TO WORK ON MY DRIVING

Only a few people seemed to get the point that I only wanted to do it to compare. Thanks for pointing it out again BDP.

Dont let all this nonsense effect your outlook on your cars potential, its not everyday an 18 yr old has a (close to) 12 second car that he did the work to instead of having his parents pay for it!

<center>This topic started out an innocent one, at best. We are not closing it for the same reasons as the other thread, but because of its' apparent affiliation with the "Race" thread. Simply stated, we do not want the hatred for/from the other thread pouring over to this one.

Members: Before the recent overflood of new members, the terms of use for this board was loosely enforced. Reason being, this was a small community with little or no arguing between members.
