I know this isn't the thread for suggestions, but I think Mokan should have some longer open run times for people that just want times. It may be just as long as everything else, but it just seems short to me.... Anyways, sorry for thread jacking.

I'd like to meet up at the Nascar 76 @ 10:45 leave @ 11:00 AM, Go to Steak and Shake for some lunch and hit Mokan just as they open the gates.

the Mokan site says :
Gates open at 1:30 pm, racing 2 pm to 5 pm.

Spectator admission $5 (includes pitpass).
Kids 12 & under free.

Race entry $10 (car and driver).

This is for street cars and motorcycles only.
All cars & motorcycles must have street equipment (mufflers*, tags, lights, etc.).
*Vehicle may not exceed 95 decibels as measured on the "A" scale from a distance of 50 feet, at a right angle to the vehicle, with the engine at a non-load RPM of 3,500.
Optional no times announced or displayed lanes.
No E.T. faster than 11.50 for cars and 10.00 for motorcycles.
Sorry, no ATVs or 4 wheelers.

This event will run every Saturday in March.

Sort of, except it's only for street cars and motorcycles. Cars can't run faster than 11.50 and 10.00 for motorcycles. We will only be running these on Saturdays in March, then they will run every 1st, 3rd and 5th (if there is a 5th) Wednesday in April - September...
