Alright, I'm from North West WASHINGTON.. Not Arkansas.. But the site reached me even all the way up here! Now more spec. I live in Port Angeles, WA.. and This particular RANT is going out to :angry: "Team Excel" :angry: the WORST bunch of Poseurs I know. This is a bunch of 16-22 year old dumb fucks who don't know a Fuel Injector from a Fan Belt.. I mean seriously they are LAME... they all drive around my home town with these bitchy little rice burners with NO POWER what-so-ever.

Not only that but everyone knows the only reason they have these cars is cuz mommy or daddy bought it for them.. Share your Poseur rants or stories.

hey, ever stop to think that some "rich" kids dont like the people who work hard and drive a rust bucket? Maybe they think everyone should have a $20,000 vehicle and everyone else are poseurs? Think they are pissed cause you know what motor parts are and what they do?? I wish i were some little punk who let mommy buy my car, so i could piss people off and get my car keyed :lol: but hey, at least id have money right?? :P

It really just depends on how you were raised. I don't have any problems with the "rich kids"...

The only thing that gets to me is when someone says, "I'm soo into cars", but don't know what a serpentine belt is.. That, I don't like.

much about cars...most all gearheads had to learn at some point.

:blink: Alright Alright I give in.. there is nothing wrong with "rich kids"... but team excel isn't JUST the rich kids.. they are the ones who gives rich kids the bad name.. And most of them do think they know everything... I have seriously heard someone tell me "oh yeah.. well my cars got 4 cylinders!! it could kick your cars ass" Ummmmmmmm.... No I'm sorry your STOCK 1983 Subaru Whatever CANNOT beat my 8 Cyl Chevy 350.... It just will NOT happen... Yes i understand you can probably get me off the line.. But a quarter mile down the line you are going to be behind me... ... Unless i flick another cig out the closed window and burn myself again LOL (No i was not sober when that happened)... ...

I myself don't know that much about cars... I also don't pretend to. My grandparents own a 4x4 shop here in town.. My dad's the machinist and my moms the book keeper... if I actually wanted to take the time to learn about anything from drivelines to electrical systems... I could.. But i am quite happy with my ability to add Gas, Water, Oil and Tranny Fluid to make it work... other then that I say "Frank.. Fix It".... And i get a bill for about 1/3 the price others would pay (Alternator - Bought and Installed with Labor charge.. Total 80 Dollars... My friend Susan just paid 220)

Now some people would consider me a rich kid just for the fact that I can get my car fixed whenever i want.. Ummm... yeah in some aspect i am.. But i've also held no less then a part time job since i was 15.. paid my own gas.. insurance.. registration da da da and so on.. Yes I did get in a wreck, yes it was my fault.. Guess who paid for it? NOT MY PARENTS!!!

Am I a rich kid?? You tell me.. I make app 500 dollars a month and am moving into my own apartment (with 2 roomies) tomorrow... 200 Apartment Deposit, 125 Electricty Deposit, 120 Cell Phone Bill, 43.50 Land Line Deposit... Not to mention rent due in 3 weeks... Would anybody like to guess why i drive a 1986 Chevy POS?

Alright I'm done for now.. Rant, Rave, Agree or Not.. I don't care.. Ain't that what these damn boards are for?

I'll go to one of Team Excel's so called races at ediz hook this weekend or the next.. and I will take pics of the cars and all... and you guys tell me what you think.. My parents bought my car, I don't know shit about cars, but am still very interested in cars. I'm not a poser, I just like cars, of course I haven't tryed to rice it out either. But as is always said on this issue to each his own. If thats what they like, then let them do it. You may see it as gay or a waste, but to them its "cool" or whatever. Its just all a matter of opinion.

first i want to say, that i LOVE cars, well atleast mine. and i don't know much about them at all, but i'll be the first to tell you that. my parents bought me my first car, which was VERY nice. if someone's parents are wealthy enough to go out and by their kids a brand new car, there's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with that. i don't like it when people think rich kids are ALL horrible, especially coming from a wealthy family myself and graduating from the biggest "stuck up, rich kid school" around here

i like the way you think about v8's though! i'm an avid v8 promoter... i've yet to see any import keep up w/my corvette. not saying they don't exist, but they're very rare

i love cars. i dont know a whole lot about them . especially imports. i dont try to make it out like im an expert. i would love to learn about them . just dont exactly have the time or any way to learn except the net. some rich kids do get on my nerves like when they flaunt. ok i drive a van since i wrecked my car and its my parents. im proud of my van even though it is a huge P O S. but i pay for my gas and i fix what goes wrong with it. but when some rich kid comes up to me in a lexus that his parents bought him and he doesnt know any thing about like even what motor is in it or where the oil dipstick is. i get a little ticked off. but if a persons parents buy them a car hey so be it.
