i have a 95 dodge avenger.....yet it has a mitsubishi engine...so wut is it?...import or domestic...or a hybrid? :shiftingfun:

if you had a 3000gt vr4 you would have a import but if you have a stealth do you have an import????? Sounds like a import thats slightly different distributed by a domestic company.

Your Avenger has the 420A chrysler motor. Its a domestic. Eclipse GS and RS are imbreds, they have domestic motors and import chassis. Eclipse GST and GSX are imports.

Oh yeah, your avenger shares the same motor as a dodge neon. Have a nice day!

Hell, chevrolet and fords aren't domestics either. They're built in Canada and Messico!

how is it a chrysler engine if it has mitsubishi stamped everywhere on it...and i know that the neon has the same 2.0 liter underpowered power house. :nwai:

yes it really does run low 12's. I ran it in August 03 at the Midwest Motorplex (up here in good ole Nebraska). Its a completely rebuilt 351 cleveland, changed it to a 4bbl and tacked on a 750CFM Holley Carb, Hipo cam/lifters/rods (cam cranes), forged pistons, custom hedders, full 3.5" exhaust from hedders. There is just so much stuff. Its been my dads project car for 15 years.

if you wanna talk about underpowered, the 2.0 (i guess 420a according to mali) is def. in a neon. i had one and it was slow as hell, sucked the gas, and could not spin the tires from a dead stop. neither could my probe but i think the probe would have taken it lol. EDIT** and stang, your car is from the early 70s, there were very few imports here in the first place (only toyotas and datsuns and a few minis with the exception of the M.B. and the VW) of course your car was made in detroit, it is 30 years old lol.
