View Full Version : 02' T/A Firehawk vs. Ford Cobra

Well, i had just got out of school headed towards the Lowell post office, when a black Ford Cobra (02 or earlier) flew by me and got in the turning lane at the Lowell main stoplight. I followed him heading towards Rogers. After fighting some traffic we were able to race from a 50mph roll. He got the jump on me and I dropped it into 2nd gear and continually pulled hard on him into to 3rd gear. I let off at about 85mph but not after I had gotten almost 4 car lengths on him. All I can say is that I understand why Ford decided to put a supercharger on the new ones... they need it ^_^

what are you running in you 1/4 mile? I've seen quite a few stock 03's that run 12.8's. hahahaha Looks like someone needs a shift light or even better . . . a new driver. hahahaha rich people shouldn't go out and buy a fast car and try to race w/ no experence. I mean that like someone running 18's w/ a saleen. :lol: :lol: :P :lol: :lol: :o

probably high 12's on a good day, haven't went to the track to see though

Nice kill, John. Although I think a stock WS6 might be a more fair run with the 01 Cobra. Nice work on the 03 Cobra, too. Shoulda got it on tape. (the first race) That would make for a riot! LoL
