i had the srt intake on my 02 IBP is300. it was nice and all but it gave me some trouble because it didnt work with my toyomoto header. i dont know if they have a new ecu that will make it work the toyomoto header but they might? I have the injen short ram intake, toyomoto header, and greddy evo exhaust just the basic IHE.
Also had a TV and ps2 hooked up.. but it came a distraction for my sister so i took it out. oh btw she drives it now.

i havent checked any recent mods on the is300 in awhile. but when i was modding that car, i read talks of having a new ecu with the SRT intake to work with the toyomoto header. instead of having to wait around for the new ecu, i just went ahead and sold it and got the injen.

for exhaust.. i was either going for both HKS models or the Greddy but i decided to stick with the greddy evo becasue HKS is set too low and would scratch. im sure there is a lot more stuff out there. check out is300.net

i would like to do the easy bolt-ons first . . . probably won't ever get around to putting a FI on it and probably will keep the exhaust stock even after I put the header/mid pipe on it... just because I don't think a "super loud" exhaust suits the car.

it has the same motor as the NA supra the 2jz ge and not the TT supra 2jz-gte but you can swap in the tt motor but it will cost you $$$ to do it right.

no turbo . . . the car is a 5-speed e-shift automatic . . . if I was going to do something like that I would probably get a manual first. But you never know . . .

you can add all the intakes and headers and exhaust pipes you want too it... but the 2jz isn't like a honda engine, it was built to withstand forced induction... without forced induction, it's not very impressive at all, and your power gains will be minimal... It needs a turbo, the newer is300 engines have weaker internals than the older 2jz's, but people have been daily driving them up to 500 horsepower..

the kits are expensive(alot cheaper if you don't buy a name brand one... there are several independent people making kits for the 2jz, pretty sure they will fit on the is300's vvti engine)... but it'll be worth it, and it's the only real way ur gonna squeeze any power out of it
