04 SRT4 vs Acura NSX

Well i was heading west on 71 B in Rogers and as i get by the bowling alley i see a real sharp looking red NSX. I was finally able to get beside him by the time i got to Mcdonalds and i motioned him to follow me, and to my suprise he did. Come to find out the guys name is Steveand he works at Fedx in Springdale and he said he had done quite a bit to the engine and had some weight reduction done also. His Gtech showed 12.8 in the 1/4. I said well if that's true your a little faster than me but if you want I'll race you rolling up on the bypass. He said ok and off we went. We got out on the highway and right away we slowed to about 40 and off we went. I pulled real hard about 6-8 car lengths from 2-3rd gear so i slowed back down, come to find out he missed 3rd. So again this time we took off from about 45 and i again pulled on him but only about 3-4 car lenghts by the time i hit 110. He also said he has a Porsche 911 and invited me to come over sometime, i cant wait to see that thing. I've had lots of decent kills but to me this one was extra special being the car cost so much compared to mine.

NICE KILL! If you told me 2 years ago that a lightly modded neon would whip an NSX, I would laugh. Funny how times change. What year NSX? I think that red one is an older one. The newer ones are decently quicker.

Someone told me it was a 93 but i dont know for sure. I raced a black one in 97 with my Grandprix GTP and he only beat me by 1/2 a car so this guy is a lot faster since im about 2 seconds faster at the moment with this car.

I havent raced one at Mokan. The one i raced was in Rogers also in late Summer of 1997.

I dont even remember seeing one up there but he wouldnt have been in my powerclass anyway. I was in the street 6 forced induction class. I took 2nd for the season. The only cars beating me was the 11 sec Toyota Supras.

The guy is like a head guy at Fed-Ex. My boss at work knows the guy really well. he wont even drive that car in the rain. And that black NSX wasent all that fast I beat him at mokan in the CRX. We have it on tape :o) I was suprised.

That was a cool night. The 9 second 4 cylinder turbocharged fox body mustang was the highlight of the night.

Oh God no, the NSX's i raced looked a lot better than that one. I dont know the year but they have a real wide stance and sitting lower to the ground, kinda like a lambo.

never a spec of dirt on it, interior is very clean
