I have been trying to get this accord together. And have ran into all kinds of snags. The disdributer i got with the motor was the wrong one and now I am waiting for another one. But my problem is I should have still got fire at the plugs. And nothing. Can't figure it out. I guess i am gonna call in the Honda master Jaimie and see what he has to say.

Are you throwing a check engine light? If not, its got to be your coil or igniter unit. Check the Plug on the distributor w/ the Black/Yellow and Blue wire. The black/yellow wire should have 12v. If it doesn't, thats a problem at the ignition. If it does, then you probably just have a bad coil or igniter.

Done that, I sent the distributer back to Nippon motors. And now i am waiting for another to return to start the process of elimination on everything else. I need to find a site with some info on this P.O.S. If I knew it was going to be such a bitch I would have used the h22 instead. :..:

Well I finally got fire. :P But now no fuel  I sprayed some starter fluid in th throttle body and it fires right up. If you leave it set with the key on it will fire run real ruff then die after a minute or so.

Any ideas???

Fuel pump relay?? Tod, check your voltage at your fuel pump man. Also, do you think that the custom fuel line you had made might have something to do w/ it?

Nippon motors

.... I'm glad to hear that you finally got a working part out of them and didn't get screwed

You generally need 4 things for an engine to run - compression, timing, A/F, and spark. Custom fuel line? That could be a/the problem to why your engine isn't working. I've always had trouble getting my engine timed right, and since you are messing with the distributor, then you may want to check that.
