I guess this would fall under electronics, so I was wondering if anyone knew the best person/place to go to for wiring neons together to one switch, cause I have a few and I'll probably get a few more (to have one under the driver and passenger seats and the 2 I have under the dash) for Christmas or something and I can't work the wires worth crap.

We can do it. Lots of people hook neons direct from a power source straight to a switch, which usually ends up in wiring getting burned and damage done to the vehicle due to an abundance of voltage being pulled through a single switch. I can set it up w/ a main power source from your battery, ran through a relay to a power distribution center for all of your neons to be controlled through a single switch. Just let us know man, we can hook you up.

I think I actually somewhat understood what you said. (Yea, I'm learning!). Anyways, pricewise how much would it be for wiring 4 interior neons and could I watch you guys do it, cause I would like to learn as much as I can.

Eh, we're not too big on people hovering over us while we work. Its honestly quite annoying, not trying to be rude or anything.

Ah, well that's cool. Anyways, have any sort of estimate on a price?

Oh Man.. I'm glad it's not just me!!.. I HATE IT when customers hover over me and sometimes try to "Help" but in reality they're just getting in the way and putting themselvs in danger being in my garage.. I just nicely tell them to wait in the waiting area and if they come back in & start watching or anything I'll go on a tangent on my insurance and how the garage is for employees ONLY.. They usually listen and stay out of the shop after that.. Don't get me wrong.. I like most of my regular customers that drive POS cars and love dumping cash into them to keep um goin but stay the :cuss: away from me when I'm working!!.. ugh.. ok.. I'm done now.. just had to add my 2cents.. Hooking it up with a relay and power dist box is the best way to go with 1 switch to pervent a burn out.. you never want to hook up 4 things in a series going to your fuse box with 1 switch.. just asking for trouble.. Always run a dedicated positive wire for accessories from the batt & use a dist block if it's being used for more than one application & make sure all the wires are soldered, taped, & have some sort of wire loom on them to make everything look clean in my opinion.. I hate messy wires!! :2thumbsup:

Werd. WolfG, have him do it. He has a car lift, and I'm too lazy.

Marconie's stereo can hook those up for you, and they will show you how to do it too. Before they install your stuff, they will show you step by step exactly how they are going to hook your stuff up and how they will do it. For example, when they installed the hella foglights on my car, they brought me into the garage where they do installs and showed me exactly how and where they were going to wire it and which wires hooked up to the dash, battery, ect. Now I have a somewhat good idea of how to do it. Plus there installs are really clean and well done. Fore example, they put sealed looms over every single wire to keep out all possible moisture and they make sure everything is done correctly the first time. And they are pretty cheap, my foglight install(took 1 1/2 hours to do everything) cost me only 40 bucks. You can go to their website and e-mail the owner and ask him for a price quote and he will e-mail you back within 24 hours with one.

Uh, Yeah, but No, they are no longer in business. If you find them though, let me know, I have a lot of pissed off people who need their warrantee equipment and money back.

Welp, their last location was on the corner of 102 and Moberly across from sonic in bentonville, and its no longer in business. From what I've heard from a very LARGE mobile electronics distributor of mine, they are out of business. But, I saw a truck the other day w/ a trailer on it w/ marconi's stereo on the side, so Craig may be just doing home audio now. I dunno.

Well, I now have the other 2 neons I wanted for inside my car so now I need to know what else I need to buy to have them all wired to a switch (and a good place to buy any other things I might need) and who can do the install?

Subarado, we do installs on almost everything but alarms. We recommend having a certified professional do those. I know how to do them, but when it comes to securing your vehicle, I prefer someone who has the extra knowledge do the work. As for the neons, sleepertec will probably do them, I hate doing crap work like that. Haha

Craig wasnt paying his people and vendors again. Ask around in the plaza, the rent didnt go up. His old installer Raul does alarms, his no. is 621-0510 and just opened a store somewhere in Rogers.

Marconi's isn't relocating. They filed bankrupcy, I've got the paper w/ Craig Marconi's name in it. My friend (Jesse) is owner of Pepper Jacks, which is in the same building, and rent didn't go up. They supposedly couldn't afford it. Some of our sales reps also have said that Marconi's is in debt to them quite a bit. I just hope this doesn't reflect upon Marconi's employees, Raul is a good installer, and I wish him the best.

Hey, when i comes to doing the Neons, i can help you with that, its not too hard. I find it fun to do stuff like that.
Also, when it comes to alarms, i did my own, i can help any one who would like me to show them the basics, its mostly pretty simple, if you take your time and read the instructions(over and over!!).And have a nice big stash of spare fuses! If any one has any questions, you can give me a call @ 479-283-0138.
circuit city installs car alarms as well ;)

Brock, you guys sell alarms but don't install them?
Maliwho97

We have basic cheap alarms for people who don't want to spend a lot. I can install them, but I'm not certified in mobile security so I prefer not to mess with it.
