well, this kit came along not too long ago. I have forged internals so, I'm looking into maybe purchasing this kit soon. it seems like quite a gain from this turbo set-up. I like having low end torque but...wow, it takes an L36 engine...which is in the GT's, not the GTP's and takes it from 165 HP...to 296...and 435 torque! here's a VIDEO (http://www.pfyc.com/supportfiles/gtpturbo.wmv) of the kit at the track. and a LINKY LINK (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=WB3039&Product_Count=49&Category_Code=GPUNDER) for reference. feedback needed.

Man whats the point? I've finally come to realize that modifying my engine is near pointless. The car already gets shitty gas mileage and I don't want to make it worse. I see no point in going super fast anymore. Make the car look good. Thats my opinion.

PS. You don't need forged internals for that turbo kit. Most guys are runnin it on a stock longblock. :D

ehh yeah, I'm probably not even concidering this set-up. I'll probably just keep modding my S/C'd L67...I was just throwing this up to get some feedback.

Where do you put the CD?.. I wonder if crushing up a CD and letting your turbo suck it up will give you better performance.. humm.. well.. maybe it's a soundtrack that plays over and over again "move b*tch get out the way" :bounce: or maybe it has some death metal on it like Dying Fetus er Lamb of God.. because nothings better than going 120 to some Metal!! :headbang:

LOL....

Don't do it man! Going from a supercharger to a turbo system would suck if you're used to the torque of the SC. For the amount of money you would spend on that turbo kit, you could probably spend the same amount modding your L67 and get basically the same result.

I also have issues with people modding cars that are hard to come by. Not necessarilly hard to come by, but people putting GSR motors in their EK Si's... (not much of a gain for you that don't know about Hondas), or in this case, say taking the SC L67 out of a GTP and putting in a GT motor for a turbo system. Then whats the point of having a GTP? I'm not trying to get down on you, just stating my opinion.

yea, I looked at this turbo, but it costs almost as much as my car is worth. And thats way to much for me to spend so forget that!

I see no point in going super fast anymore. :wallbash:

I suppose different people do it for different reasons. I would personally prefer to have a car that looks good and is fast. Because looking good is kinda like "talking the talk", but going fast is "walking the walk". At least to me. I'd much sooner spend money on something to make me go faster than look better.

Yeah, I like fast and good looking. But when it came down to it, i would rather have the speed.
