RX-7 club sponsored by Superior Mazda

hey guys I wanted to let you know that Me and Matt(Flawlez) talked to Superior Mazda a few weeks ago about starting a RX-7 club (like the Z club at Nissan). We talked to a sales guy for a while and he said he would tell a general manager. ^_^ so we came back last week and the sales guy said the general manager didn't think there was enough around here to make a club <_< . So he told me If I had enough (around 10 or more) to check back. So if anyone could give me names and numbers of any generation rx-7; that doesn't mind superior mazda knowing this information, that would be great. I have a few already im getting including myself, caleb B., drew G., and ryan.

clubs are really fun to join.. just this past october i went on a drive with s2kca (s2000 club of america) 50 or 60 s2000s showed up to austin texas from all over the country and went on a weekend long event.. i had a blast.

Here's an idea for ya, tell Zach to make you some fliers in his Photoshop class (forgot the real name) and slap em on all the 7's you see around town. That's what I do with Z's. :D

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I saw a 2nd Gen 7 parked under an onning (whoa don't know how to spell that one. :lol: ) just as you turn to go towards Johnson from College. You'll pass the gas station/car wash on your left and the house just past it on the left had a decent looking red 2nd Gen.

Before the rebuild the FC ran a quickest quarter mile time of 14.7 with the HKS cat-back and Bonez filter. Since then I've rebuilt it (blew an apex seal) with a streetport, downpipe, midpipe (realized that the original cat was gutted :) ) installed a Haltech E6K, and an ACT HD clutch and pressure plate. It dyno'd recently at 216 rwhp at only 6 or 7 psi running pig rich.

The FD ran a around 16-18 at ~60 mph :( because the secondary wasn't coming on.

BTW, if anybody's interested, there's a red convertible for sale at the new Honda dealership just off 540 on Moberly in B'ville. The outside looks good, but the interior needs a little work. I'd rather see it go to an enthusiast than anyone else.

that red 8 you saw was probably my friend... its her moms car and she just drives it alot and parks in the deck cuz my friend/her bf lives in humphry's which is right next to the garage basically.....

but um yea you guys want a protege :D sure its not a rx but atleast its a mazda lol
