okay, got a few questions before I head up that way this weekend

I will have to wear Jeans yes? reason I ask is, usually I just wear shorts down here but somebody mentioned that most 1/4 mile tracks require full pants.

according to the rules you must wear a helmet is your car is 14.00 or quicker, how strictly is this enforced? I don't have a helmet but I can get one by then. or if somebody wants to let me borrow theirs feel free :D

I'm guessing I can run drag radials? I see that slicks are permitted, but some people complain at the local track if I run DR's.

I assume everyone is meeting at McDonalds in Bentonville and heading that way together?

uhm...I think that's all for now but I'll think of more, heh.

I'm stoked to see what my car is going to run at it's first time in the 1/4

Protective Clothing
Fire jackets recommended in all classes 11.00 and faster. Front engine dragsters, altereds and closed cars with non-stock floor pans and/or firewalls must have long pants and gloves. Arm restraints recommended in all open body cars. Neck collar suggested for anyone wearing helmet, required at 8.99 or quicker 1/4 mile or 5.75 1/8th mile.

'Helmet
Helmets required on cars running 14.00 or quicker on the 1/4 mile. or 8.50 or quicker on the 1/8 mile. Snell 80 or newer recommended.'

I don't see why not. :)

We will be meeting at the Nascar McDonalds in Bentonville (by the bypass) at noon and leaving at 1pm. And yes, we will all be going as a group. :)

I don't want to lose the group though. Cause I have no idea what to do when I get there. Cause I just want to watch and be able to hang out in the pits with the rest of the NWAi guys.

last time everyone got separated in small groups, that sucked, i dont plan on going faster than 75mph, that puts me a 3k rpms in overdrive, borderline boosting, not very fun

i'm not bringing a helmet, i hope i dont get in trouble, may have to borrow one, last time one guy wore one and no one said anything to anyone else, the staff doesnt take imports very seriously

i have 5 gallons of 114 octane for sale, $25 tomorrow (thursday) only, only reason i'm selling is so i can get 117 octane (its $40)

things are really starting to come together with my truck, last thing to install is the 2 step, then i gotta tune a little
