i was wondering if anyone knew of a good program to run on an h22a. I have a chipped p28 in my car. it currently has a mugen program. i also have the stock p13. But, I was wanting to know if i should roll with the mugen program or look into something else. Thanks, James

Of the two H22 swaps we have done is civics, one is running the stock P13, the other is a stock P72 ... which sucks ass. The most power has been found from the skunk chipped P28's, P72 with hondata S100 program and Mugen chipped P72's.

SoLo, since you swapped to OBD1 obviously, do a mugen spec P28 from a Civic Si/EX. See what arnaldo is putting in his EG hatch, his car will be fast as hell.

maliwho, i thought you stayed on top of your game?!?! the 90 accord is the oddball for honda. OBD1!!!!!!!!!!!! the motor is out of a 93 prelude=OBD1!!!!!!!!!
any ?'s ? anyway, i am running a p28 w/ mugen. arnaldo is running a jun program. 4,400 cross. my program crosses at 5,500 but that's where my good friends at APEXi came in. vafc changed it to 4,700. to mali, again, i have a mugen p28. to swordfish, p72 is gsr. that's the problem. b-series ecu programs run like @$$ on the h22's cuz they are higher rev motors. the h22 is looking for all of the maps and power down low. the p13 is stock ecu obviously.

Yo, ask alex what hondata program he can get you. He may be able to modify your P13..... I was going to say a P5P, but thats OBD2.... Hmmm..... Lemme research.

Yes, I stated that the stock P72 pretty much sucks, but have you seen any of the dyno's of mugen chipped P72's or especially the P72's running hondata S100. They pretty much walk all over everything else with the exception of the skunk chipped P28. These are P72's and P28's chipped for H22 applications by the way. You may also want to have Alex give Erick a call for you as well.

Ty is putting a motor in for the red GSR, they sent a type R computer with the shipment and we put it in the Civic in place of the OBD I p28 we had in there. This new one is a OBD II of course, (p72 i think) but it doesnt seem to be setting off the sensor MIL. This is suppose to have a mugen or skunk program in it but i dont know the specs. How come some ECU's have an issue with the data from the O2 sensors and some dont? Is this mainly the software on the ECU?
Also these OBD II ECU's make the head lights and dash dim under 2,xxx rpm, whats up with that? If this puter is a p72, i like it alot better than the p28 we were running, but this is just a stock VTEC 1.6 with header and intake.
Also, our very own Crayon Eater ^_^ I8ayellowcrayon once suggested http://www.honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=10 to me for a p28, he is also on there... i guess for some outside feedback, there are many peoples on there that would be able to help as well. Dunno if you been there, just trying to help

You enjoy that way too much . I don't know crap about H22's, but yeah, check out www.honda-tech.com (http://www.honda-tech.com). I've never gotten out of the EF Civic forum (and classifieds...), and H22's don't fit that well in our little Civics or CRXs. But I'm sure someone on there will be able to help you out. If you ever need any D series help, talk to me lol.
