Just FYI, those Lightnings have a supercharger mounted sequentially BEFORE the turbo charger, keeping the turbo at FULL BOOST 24/7. That's why they are capable of handing an STI it's ass, even after the STI has been modified with superior mods. You can find this out for yourself, though. Just line up next to one.
All I can say is: I'm not up to the challenge, and I 0-60 in 4.8. (Road&Track)
I've got respect for the Lightning, so :welcome:

Even if that was the case, the SC would have to be pushing 15psi into the turbo to get any amount of boost into the engine. It would be too much of a waste for Ford to even think about.
I'm really talking out of my ass here, because I don't know for sure, but it just doesn't sound realistic to me. Maybe if the turbo was off a Freightliner, then you would want a SC to be plugged in before it. (FYI semi turbos push out 40+psi... way too much to be put into a 'reliable' mass produced V8)
Lightnings belong here as much as anyone else. Notice, there is a Domestic section. And my Honda was made in Canada, and most of the new ones are made in the US, so no big deal :).

OMFG. Who taught you this nonsence? They have a direct pulley drive blower that sits on top of the motor in place of the intake manifold. Not "Sequentially behind the turbo." That would be pointless to even have a turbo, they are ran off of exhaust gases, not a supercharger. The supercharger would have to be spun up some how to feed the compressor housing of the turbo in order to make boost, and with all of that friction to make boost, what is the point? This is ridiculous. Hahahaha Oh man.

You could dump SC boost straight into a turbo. Not a roots type SC, but a centrifugal SC. Don't know why you would, but maybe that makes sense to someone else...

I am going to refrain from any ricer fart canon jokes, as he would be walking right into it and I don't think it would be fair. But on the other hand if I did speak with my ass it would be more understandable than the jibrish that he uses to speek with. :D
