Read the sticky on "Simple Guide to Car Handling".. http://www.nwaimports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=222

It'll put things in a little different perspective if you're unsure about things. :)

You can go 2-2.5 and have it aligned at a tire shop and keep good camber.

They are junk though, but they will lower your car none the less. Haha I like my Skunk2's.

Anything more than an inch will change camber. It may not be noticable but your tires will still wear faster on the inside. You can get away with a camber kit for the front and washers in the back. Each washer is about half a degree. No more than two per side though or one degree of camber correction. Eibach recommends camber kits with their 1.5 in drop springs. An alignment fixes toe not camber and sometimes they can do a minor camber adjustment but not enough when a car is dropped.

Like Maliwho said you can buy cheap springs and they will lower your car but they will greatly impact your ride quality. You get what you pay for. You have to consider spring rates and all kinds of stuff. If you just want to lower the car and don't plan on changing the height then just get springs and not coilovers. COilovers are not as easy as most people think, to do them right you should corner weigh your car to balance each individual corner.

Anyway too long of a thread, outtie.
