So who's talked to Oliver lately?

I saw him out cruising in east Springdale last night but I didn't figure he knew anyone out there but ah well. My brother said that EVERYONE is saying that he beat me? What's with that? Oliver has a quick Civic for what mods he has but he did NOT beat me and I raced him from a dead dig like HE wanted. It just got ugly the faster we went. No flames really intended here just trying to see what everyone's heard/said and clearing things up. Hopefully I'll have my baby back on the road in a couple months.

Ive talked to him a couple of times in the past few weeks. Saw him and some friends drifting in a parking lot by Baum Stadium, and I talked to him at the mall while he was Christmas shopping.

for what mods he has, pretty much no mods, ok ok an intake, and an extra muffler, its not even a catback, i dont think he even has a header on there anymore......but does anybody know what he's doin with it now? i'm not tellin! :lol:

and that whole thing about racing from a dead dig like HE wanted, i hate it when people want to street race from a rolling start, that is about dumb imho, each to his own i guess, true i usually do better (not good but better) from a roll, a good 45-50mph downshift to 2nd gets me goin pretty good, like the other night i raced a new hemi ram, he couldnt catch me when we started at about 50, but from the stoplight he got me bad, it sucked, but i'm just rambling, later

"From what mods he has". I was stating for what he has, he's quick. He doesn't have much, correct. He does have a full exhuast I'm pretty sure but it doesn't really matter. Yes. The 2nd race he WAS ahead of me. Wanna know why? I didn't even go until he had already started. Even Oliver will admit that. He knows my car is quicker he's not afraid to admit it. I know all you guys like to race from a dead dig. But he lost fair and square the first time and the reason I didn't go until the last second the 2nd time was because....well....you saw what happened. My car is what's called a GT Car or Touring Car. NOT made to drag race, NOT made for serious straight line performance, really. That's why my car can hit 150 mph STOCK. It has high gears whereas civics have lower gears stock therefore already have a slight advantage below 60. Terence volunteered to race me from an 80 punch back in the summer. I'll bet he's glad he didn't. Oliver beat Terence, I beat Oliver, end of story. I'm not shit talking just merely clarifying. I think Oliver's Civic is decent looking I just think he shoulda stuck with the corvettes he used to have. I wish the NWA Imports would do more Auto Crossing. It's a lot of fun. I know the F-bodies like to hit up the Auto Xing from time to time.

Oliver was originally going to scrap the Civic and go for an S2000 but he has since changed his mind. I believe he's doing the same thing Terence did. Going turbo. Good for Oliver. We need more turbo civics around here. Just hope he doesn't overboost his engine.

I was just stating for the mere fact of what happened the other day between some of the board regulars & Dr. Nick. I don't want it happening again. I don't want people being angry because of something that was said, which could have very well been prevented. But since you clarified what you meant, it doesn't sound so defametory afterall. ^_^

Thanks for the welcome. I'm here until the 12th. It's always good to be home. I REALLY miss the summer though. LOTSA good times and memories. I only hope I can experience those again in the future.
