You can still post an Avatar using My Controls - BUT....

It will not display the photo. We have to manually move the photo to another directory to view it. Its a pain in the ass, but we gotta do it like that for now.

You can link it still but it will show an x and a white pic until we move it. Hope that helped some.

Our host doesn't think its such a hot idea to allow user-uploading because of possible problems...

So, we're going to try to allow user-uploading to our own server. :thumbup:

nah its cool. I am gonna however have to take my server off-line for a couple hours - or days :unsure: cause i need to upgrade hard drives. This means some photo's here on the site will not load or be an "x". I didnt have much space left, now i have none :lol:

Anyhow once i am complete users here on the forum will be able to upload anything they want to my FTP, im not worried, cause i can get ya if you try anything :ph34r: :lol:

Well, I just wanted to inform everyone, that my server was down for a day. I figure it was just a hacker attempt that actually got to my grub :( , Oh well, new Hard Drive and clean install - needed it anyhow :thumbup:

Problem is, I had many many photo's on this forum linked from my server including my Avatar, so until I get my HTTP section back up and a Ghost of the old stuff, many things will not be displayed.

FTP access is down as well, I do however have everyones Photos that were posted as of last week. I will work on getting permissions granted for FTP access and get it setup for you guys ASAP.

Sux it crashed, it was bad too - never seen a Linux machine do all that crazy stuff!! But oh well, I have their IP's ^_^

I stopped for a few to check the forum and take a pic of the Motherboard I am working on to upgrade my server (in the corner)... oh and my mess i still gotta clean up after i get done :angry: How come your never really finished?
